- Sparky conversations — questions you ask our AI assistant

- Usage data — pages visited, time on site, referral source

3. How We Use Your Data
- To route your enquiry to a verified local installer (if one exists in your county)
- To show relevant partner offers when no local installer is available
- To provide AI-assisted guidance via Sparky

4. Who Sees Your Data
Local installers: If your county has a verified sponsor, they receive your enquiry details so they can contact you. We route to ONE installer per county — never multiple competing companies.
Partner services: If no local sponsor exists, we may show you offers from vetted national partners. If you click through, their privacy policies apply.
Service providers: We use third-party services for hosting, analytics, and payment processing (Stripe). These providers only access data necessary for their function.
We never: Sell your personal data to data brokers, share your details with multiple competing installers, or use your data for unrelated marketing without consent.
5. Legal Basis (UK GDPR)
We process your data based on:
- Consent — when you submit a form or start a Sparky conversation
- Legitimate interests — to operate and improve our service, provided this doesn't override your rights
- Contract — when processing installer sponsorship payments
6. Data Retention
- Enquiry data: 12 months, then deleted
- Sparky conversations: 90 days for service improvement, then anonymised or deleted
- Analytics data: 26 months (Google Analytics default)
- Installer accounts: Duration of active sponsorship plus 12 months
7. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

- Rectification — correct inaccurate data
- Erasure — request deletion ("right to be forgotten")
