General information only

The guides on this site are general information. They are not a survey of your home, and not financial, legal or tax advice. Nothing here is advice on your own home, quote or installation.

Dates

Each page shows the date its facts were checked. Prices, grants, rules and standards change after that date, so check anything important at its source before you rely on it.

Figures and savings

Every sum on this site shows its workings and the date it was checked. Real results depend on your home, how you use Energy, your Tariff, the weather, and the quality of the installation. I can't guarantee any saving or payback.

Grants and schemes

Grant rules change. Figures were checked on the date shown on each page. Always check gov.uk or the scheme administrator before you rely on them.
